It’s most likely true – LinkedIn has been hacked. It was reported that some hacker in a Russian online forum had claimed he had uploaded over 6 million password hashes for LinkedIn accounts, but no user names were reported as being uploaded.

It’s being dubbed “Operation NewSon” or, OpNewSon for short. It’s slated to be a massive DDoS attack orchestrated by another Anonymous spin-off calling themselves “TheWikiBoat”.
Though Anonymous has been very quiet in wake of the LulzSec arrests, a supposed high-ranking spokesperson for the Hacktivist group has made an extremely bold claim just recently.

GuardianEdge, or Symantec Endpoint Encryption full disk as it’s called, is a full disk encryption management platform. It provides protection against things such as cold-boot attacks and blanking local Windows passwords. The product itself works on both Windows and Mac OS computers.
It looks as maybe, just MAYBE, the leader of the hacking group LulzSec (alias Sabu) has finally been identified and also confirmed by Sabu himself. In a recently posted Blogspot website, details that ‘doxed’ (documentation identifying) Sabu, have appeared.

Since LulzSec has disbanded and been brought into the collective known as “Anonymous”, Anonymous has been keeping very busy and keeping with their “plan“.
This past weekend, the hacking group – LulzSec (Lulz Security), has retired. The announcement was made via Twitter on their @LulzSec account and on their website. The short tweet proclaimed:

The Lulzy one’s are back at again on Wednesday. First target was a DDoS attack on both “Heroes of Newerth” and Magnets.com. Both sites were brought to a grinding halt, but seem to be back up now.
As of early this afternoon, LulzSec has targeted EVE Online, FinFisher, Escapist Magazine and Minecraft. All three websites have been DDoS’ed and brought down. LulzSec recently tweeted:
