Facebook Hires Geohot

Administrator The infamous Playstation 3 and iPhone jailbreaker, George Hotz (Geohot), has confirmed Facebook has hired him. If you remember, Geohot just recently settled with Sony in a lawsuit where they suggested he was infringing upon their copyrights and claimed reverse engineering the Playstation 3 was illegal. The settlement terms were simple: Geohot agrees to never again to “hack” or reverse-engineer a Sony device and Sony in turn dropped the lawsuit. Needless to say, Geohot accepted the deal.
Though it’s not entirely known what exactly he will be doing as an employee of Facebook, it has been rumored that he will be working on the Facebook iPad app. Read more »
